But since the time, I have decided to turn Organic & Herbal, my quest for newer Organic Lip Balms is in full speed & the new addition to the family is The Vedic Collection. I came across The Vedic Collection recently on social media & since their products are totally Paraben, Sulphate and Chemical Free, Not Tested on Animals & thoroughly Handmade, so it was obvious I had to give it a try. So I ordered 3 products. Today I will be reviewing the very 1st product I received, Melon Lip Balm. Here’s Vedic Collection Lip Balm Review.

About Product:
I received Vedic Collection Melon Lip Balm which is infused with Prunus Amygdalus Var. Dulcus, Apis Mellifera, Citrullus Lanatus and Fragrance Oil. As per company, you can actually this lip balm working on dry lips making them soft and lush. The product comes in a white transparent jar with golden cap.

My Take on Vedic Collection Melon Lip Balm:
It comes in a small transparent tub with pretty golden cap. The packaging is very cute. It has a pleasant melon fragrance that you will surely love.
The lip balm is white & in solid form inside the tub. You have to apply it on lips with your fingers. The lip balm glides easily on lips.
I applied it on lips overnight to check its results. I woke up with very soft and hydrated lips. This lip balms is moisturizes lips effectively. When applied during day time, it keeps lips hydrated and moisturized for 2-3 hours which is pretty decent. Only a small amount is sufficient for lips.
The best part now is unlike majority of lip balms it doesn’t make my lips look very oily & greasy. I mean after applying, lips are properly moisturized yet they don’t look oily & greasy. No one can tell whether I have applied any balm or cream on lips. They look natural yet soft & moisturized. This has become a part of my daily routine & now I prefer applying it on my lips during day time.
I can carry it in my purse as the bottle is very small and handy.So it is also travel friendly due to its small handy size.
One application is good to go for 3 hours easily. But it won’t pass by eating and drinking, a re-application is needed after drinking or eating. This is perfect as a base for lipsticks & lip glosses too as it doesn’t make lips oily.
The subtle softness it gives to look along with the look of being hydrated & not dry is the best part of this lip balm. I would highly suggest this as a part of day care routine & for using as base for makeup on lips. I will look forward towards trying other 2 variants.

#1.Tub packaging: Well this is not a con basically for everyone but I prefer Tube Packaging over Tub packaging as in tub packaging, we have to use our fingers & for that we put it in tub which is not that hygienic.
#2.Texture: For me the texture is a bit hard, I want my lip balms to be soft
#3.Pigmentation: Again it is not a con but for me a lil bit of tint in lip balms will be perfect for regular usage.
Will I Recommend It:
Yes, this is a very nice product from The Vedic Collection which is totally herbal, organic & chemical free. You are satisfied that you are not applying anything harmful & chemical infused on your body. Also the lip balm makes lips pretty soft & is reasonable too.
