The only reason many times lead to over thinking is our fear inside. When you keep thinking about all the bad or negative things that can happen, your mind easily gets paralyzed. Next time when you feel your mind is going in a negative direction, just stop yourself from doing that and think what will happen in a positive way and how good it can be for you. Shift your focus on to all the things you are grateful for and what things make you happy. Energy goes where attention goes, so if you give attention to negativity in your life it will always pull you back in your life.
2. Do things that will help you calm yourself:
It is very difficult to have a positive mindset with all the negativity around you whether it is fight, anger or any degrading thoughts it is not easy to stay positive. So whenever you feel you are around negativity or negative thoughts are conquering your mind try to repeat peaceful words like calm, relax, beach, breeze, chill etc. or do something that will divert your mind from negativity.
3. Try using “Yes, but” Technique for peaceful mind:
Whenever you say something negative or you explain someone that you weren’t able to complete work or wasn’t able to do something that you were supposed to. Always say that I wasn’t able to do, but I learnt that and will complete it tomorrrow. So there’s a positive thing in the sentence. And it was a beneficial day even though you didn’t complete task.
4. Change your way of dealing the negativity:
When you are over thinking something that you fear, because you failed at times and is also bad at those things, over thinking about all the times you weren’t able to do things. Just remember that things don’t always work out the way we want it too. It happens for a reason and that it will take place when it’s supposed to be so why over think about it.
5. Do your best, nobody can predict future:
Be grateful and thankful to things you have and can do in your life. Make a list of things that make you happy, so whenever you feel low about yourself or your life you can take out and read it to remind yourself. You can’t control things, so give your best at everything you can and wait for the results and success you will get ahead in your life. You can’t predict future, so spend time on things that give you joy do something productive because all we have is now.
