People think making time for self care again and again seems, selfish.     1. Always create your own space:

    You may or may not have been lucky to have your own room at your home, but there is or not create your own space and time. Whatever it may be you are craving at the time, might be reading or listening to music. Make your own space and time which everyone knows is you’re me time. Anything it can be catching up with your friends, reading book, attending workshop or hot bath with bubbles and candles. Explain your closed ones how important is your time for yourself and notice yourself when you have your own time, how you change yourself into a whole new different and great person.

    2. Self care is not a one-time deal:

    Self care has to be done every day, even if it’s for 15/30 minutes. Start with a compliment journal or a journal where you can note done great things that people say to you or writing great things that happened in a day. Make a to do list and start ticking off as and on your work gets done. Sometimes just lie down on your back, relax, and watch sky. Try to make changes in your decision. Try to do things in different way.

    3. Make sleep a part of your self-care routine:

    How much you sleep or your sleeping pattern has a huge impact on how you act emotionally and physically. It has a huge impact as it also reduces stress. It’s the best way to calm you after a hard day. Always have a peaceful place to sleep, make sure no one disturbs you while you sleep and relax your mind. Avoid caffeine and sugar before sleep as it can keep you awake and won’t help you sleep.

    4. Trust your gut feeling:

    Your gut have a great impact on your health and feelings. Eat healthy food. And when you feel, you don’t feel good or you are not in a good state of mind relax yourself take a break from your tiring routine. Don’t be stressed.     Say no to others and yes to self-care. Learning to say no to others is really tough, but if you are already stressed and overworked then try to say no to extra work. Once you start saying no you’ll feel more and more confident and you’ll get more time for self-care.

    6. Cook yourself a meal:

    Wake up early take out some time for yourself and make breakfast before you start your day. If you are home try to make more food at home than ordering from outside. Make your favorite meals, try to make pre made meals if so in any case if you get late coming back or while going home all you got to do is microwave meal and eat. Intake right proportion of calories and nutrients. Even if it’s only once a week try to eat healthy food.

    7. Read self-care books:

    In today’s world, we tend to use more of our phone or switch on televisions for our entertainment and comforts, scrolling news feed can make you stressed and worried than helping. So, rather read some self-help books with you when you leave your house and go for work or anything. You’ll learn more about how to take care of yourself. You’ll be amazed with the difference it would make as it will get you more stuck to books than your phone. It’ll improve your mood and also help you stay positive and powerful.

    8. Keep drinking water regularly:

    Stay hydrated always, keep drinking water. Kick out all your bad habits. Because that may lead to certain wrong life choices. Your friends or the company you keep matters as they may also influence you into wrong habits.

    9. Be inspired by the people around you:

    Get inspired and learn new things, and explore. It’s good to explore and start doing good things as it will keep you away from bad thoughts and also you won’t feel lost or over think. Spend some time alone and figure out few things in your life that you have to focus.

    10. Ask for help whenever needed:

    If you get lost in your own thoughts or you get any negative vibes seek help. Talk to people about tell them how you feel and try to spend time with your family friends or cousins. Do some work through which your mind can get distracted.
